Oluwo Is An Ambassador Of Islam -Imam Offa
The popular Islamic preacher, Chief Imam Offa, Sheikh Dr Muhideen Salman Husayn, has described Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, as a worthy Yoruba ambassador of Islam.
Sheik Muhideen said the honour Oluwo brought to Islam during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia was historical and monumental, asking other Muslim monarchs to uphold the oneness of God.
The Imam made the disclosure yesterday while delivering a sermon at the 4th anniversary/100m appeal fund for NASFAT, Owode Oke Ijetu branch held today at Fountain University, Osogbo .
Oba Akanbi equally made a donation of #1m to support the Islamic Centre construction.
