The 2024 Ede Day Planning Committee has assured indigenes of the town at home and diaspora of a unique annual celebration.

The planning committee chairman, Hon Lukman Afolabi, made this assurance known on Wednesday while unveiling names of all committee members.

Afolabi, who announced December 7 as the grand finale for the 2024 Ede Day celebration noted that composition of the planning committee was not based on political sentiment or religious affiliation.

He urged all members of the planning committee to ensure that they work in harmony in order to achieve a successful Ede Day.

According to Afolabi ” Last year we were unable to host the Ede Day due to some circumstances but this year will be unique and remarkable.

“Popular Ibadan based Fuji musician, Taye Currency, will be available on the grand finale to entertain young and old” Afolabi added.
