Transfer: I Want To Play With Him – New Signing, Dani Olmo Reveals Who Made Him Join Barca
Barcelona’s new man, Dani Olmo has revealed why he joined the Catalans this summer.
The Euro 2024 champion said he joined Barcelona because of the quality of players at the club.
Olmo completed a summer transfer from RB Leipzig to Nou Camp in the last hours in a reported €60 million deal.
Barca is not a new home for Olmo as the Spaniard is the club’s youth academy product, having spent seven years in La Masia.
The attacking midfielder, who spoke after signing for the Spanish top flight giants, said the likes of Robert Lewandowski attracted him to Camp Nou.
Speaking after his move was made official, Olmo, who has penned a six-year deal, remarked (via @BarcaUniversal):
“I have already played with many Barça players. There is a lot of quality here. I want to play with players like Lewandowski, I am ready to contribute.”
