Olympic 2024: DTigress Losses To Host Nation, France
The DTigress of Nigeria has been defeated by Olympic 2024 host nation, France ,in the ongoing basketball tournament.
The African reigning champions were defeated 75 – 54 on Thursday.
Blaze Newz recalls that D’Tigress earlier defeated world number three ranking basketball nation, Australia, in its opening match.
The Nigerian ladies tried to stay with their French counterparts, but their shooting in the last two quarters was not so good, made 13pts in the 3rd and 4th quarters respectively.
Nigeria’s many turnovers cost them dearly, with France putting up a good shooting display to run out with the victory.
The D’Tigress will be facing Canada in its third fixture on Sunday
