Euro 2024: Spain Suffer Injury Doubt Ahead Of Final
Spain captain, Alvaro Morata, has emerged as an injury doubt ahead of the Euro 2024 final this Sunday.
Morata was clattered into by a steward following their 2-1 win over France in Tuesday night’s semi-final.
The Atletico Madrid striker could be seen clutching his knee after the freak accident.
Spain fought back from conceding an early goal to win, thanks to goals from Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo.
But their victory was tainted by Morata’s injury.
Morata winced in pain as his knee twisted from the impact and was visibly upset as he left the pitch.
Spain would be hoping he is fit for the final, but face an anxious wait with their skipper due for a scan on Wednesday.
