• Say Gov Adeleke more focused on people-oriented projects and welfare of citizens
A lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi, popularly known as Irekandu, has stated that the scheming or gimmicks of the opposition party or any group of naysayers cannot derail Governor Adeleke from taking Osun to higher prosperity.
This was made known by the state legislator during the 37th edition of a monthly program held at the Osun NUJ council in Osogbo.
According to Adeyemi, the current administration is on top of its game with an absolute concentration infrastructure with a view to improving economic activities.
He claimed that Governor Adeleke has made concrete efforts on sustainable palliatives and agricultural drive through the ministry of agriculture in terms of provision of seedlings and other farm inputs to farmers for food security.
He further claimed that the People’s Democratic Party in the state is neither jittery nor discouraged by the activities of some politicians who are defecting from the party, saying those in that category were neither truly with the party right from time nor contributed to the success of the governor in the last election.
According to Adeyemi, Adeleke’s administration is more focused on people-oriented projects and the welfare of citizens and could not be derailed by the scheming or gimmicks of opposition parties under the guise of any political movement.
He asserted that many members from different political parties are genuinely joining the PDP in the state without any dust being raised by the party.
