The Nigeria Police said it would investigate the assault on a veteran Yoruba actor, Lawori, by Koko Zaria, a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated this in post on his official X handle on Monday.
Koko Zaria was reported to have ordered an attack on Lawori.

He wrote, “This will be investigated, and justice will be served. Many people have called me on this case.”
