Copa America: Messi Creates New Records As Argentina Beats Canada
Argentina and Inter Miami striker, Lionel Messi has written new history in Copa America 2024 edition going on in United States of America.
Messi became the only player with most appearance ever in the Copa America competition with total of 35.
The 2:0 victory against Canada made Messi only Argentinian player to feature in 7 different editions of the competition.
Messi, since his breakthrough into the Argentina senior team has been featuring for Copa America since 2007 up till 2024.
He led the Argentina team in the previous edition to win the Copa America trophy before going on to win the World Cup.
Messi leadership of the Argentina team has brought the team tremendous successes.
