Strike : FG Invites Labour For Emergency Meeting

The federal government has invited leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) for an emergency meeting over the ongoing indefinite nationwide strike by the unions.
TheCable understands that the government is calling the meeting which will be held on Tuesday through the National Salaries, Incomes, and Wages Commission.
The meeting, which will involve the minimum wage tripartite committee, is a move to push for a suspension of the ongoing indefinite strike and continue negotiations.
