Three Injured In Osun Multiple Car Crash
Three persons sustained severe injuries while two others escaped unhurt in a multiple car crash which occurred on Sunday morning in Osun.
According to a First Information Report, FIR, issued by the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Osun State Sector Commander, Inyang Umoh, the crash occurred along the Ilesa-Akure route at the Igbelajewa bend, 15 kilometres from Iwaraja junction.
The report which was made available by the Command’s Spokesperson, Agnes Ogungbemi on Sunday, said the crash which involved two vehicles; a bus and a motorcycle, occurred as a result of loss of control due to overspeeding.
She said the two vehicles involved in the accident were a white Toyota Hiace with registration number: GME324XD and a blue coloured TVS motorcycle with registration number: GNN795QB.
According to her, “Five adult males were involved in the crash and the three injured adult males have been taken to the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa for medical attention.”
