Ronaldo Cries As Al Nassr Star Misses Penalty To Lose Cup Final
Senegalese international, Sadio Mane was one of the villains as Al Nassr and their superstar signing Cristiano Ronaldo were shattered after losing the Saudi Kings Cup final to fierce rivals Al Hilal in a dramatic penalty shootout.
Despite enjoying a numerical advantage after Al Hilal were reduced to nine men, Al Nassr could not capitalise and the match finished 1-1 after extra time on Friday night.
The shootout was a heartbreaker for the Al Nassr faithful, with former Liverpool star Mane the piece’s villain.
Put through on goal with just the keeper to beat, the Senegalese star inexplicably fired his effort high and wide, a miss that would ultimately prove costly.

Ronaldo, who had been in tears after the final whistle, cut a sad and inconsolable figure as Al Hilal went on to win the shootout 5-4, securing the domestic double.
Social media reacted quickly, with Mane facing a barrage of criticism from the Al Nassr faithful and Ronaldo fans.
“He is washed man. Can’t even shoot,” one fan lamented, while another labelled him a “one-club wonder” under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
This heartbreaking defeat will undoubtedly sting for Al Nassr and Ronaldo, who were desperate to secure their first piece of silverware in Saudi Arabia.
As for Mane, he will be hoping to bounce back quickly and rediscover his best form for the sake of his new club and their disheartened supporters.
