Children’s Day : We Can’t Afford To Let You Be Left Out of Ongoing Transformation In Osun – Mrs Adeleke Tells Children
First lady of Osun State and founder of Imole Osun Development and Rekindled Hope, Chief Mrs Titilola Adeleke, has reiterated his commitment in ensuring that she use her office to better the lives of children in the state.
The first lady made her commitment known on Monday during the 2024 International Children’s Day celebration.
Mrs Adeleke noted that as a state experiencing rapid development in infrastructure across nooks and cranny of the state under Governor Ademola Adeleke she will not relent in providing support for children.
While emphasizing on the importance of children in nation building, she said “as a state we can not afford to let our children be left out of the ongoing transformation in the state.
According to the first lady “Our children are leaders of tomorrow and must be provided with all support to make them grow into responsible adults.
“As Osun government is providing quality education to our children I will also not stop in ensuring that other social amenities get to them irrespective of the status of their parents.
“I strongly believe that well trained children will become a good and responsive leaders of tomorrow.
“I rejoice with all children in the state for this year’s International Children’s Day and pray that they continue to grow intellectually and morally.”
She, however, urged parents and guardians to protect their wards from all forms of social vices and also continue to support the government of governor Adeleke.
