Children’s Day : Ensuring Better Future For You Remains Priority – Afolabi Assures Children

The Chairman of Ede South Local Government Area of Osun State, Alh Hon Lukman Afolabi Abere Soose, has assured that the council under his administration will continue to prioritize a better future for children.

Afolabi disclosed this on Monday while celebrating 2024 International Children’s Day.

The council chairman, who stressed that children of today are the leaders of tomorrow said his administration will ensure that they get quality education, and other socio-economic programs that will aid excellence and competitive learning and protection against all forms of child abuse.

He also maintained that no child deserved to be used for labour rather they should be supported with everything needed to grow in become responsible adults.

In a statement signed by the chairman he expressed delight with children,
“Children are blessings from God and major sources of happiness in our homes.

“Our administration is committed to children’s well-being as it has embarked on some school projects aimed at enhancing qualitative education delivery.

“Our administration would continue to work for a better future for children in the Ede South Local Government regardless of any circumstance.

“We’ll also look inward through child rights advocacy programs and the psychomotor learning which is already in process,” he said.

Afolabi urged children to be good ambassadors of their family saying the leadership of Ede South Local Government would accelerate performance in producing the leading stars for their future.
