Xavi Speaks On Laporta Amdist Reports Of Leaving Barca
Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez, has said his relationship with club president, Juan Laporta remains cordial.
Xavi said this amdist rumors of discord with the president and Barca Director ,Deco, as the club play second to the last LaLiga game of 2023/2024 season.
In the last few days, rumor filtered the internet that Laporta was angry with Xavi who spoke about the financial situation of the club.
It was also rumored that Laporta is already planning to sack Xavi, replace him with another manager.
According to Xavi “Nothing at all has changed. If something changes, we will let you know… but we are calm. Focus on this project.
“This squad has extraordinary quality and we will try to win titles next season, our project remains clear.
“The president Laporta has sent me positive messages, nothing else. Full focus on tomorrow’s game.
“I feel good, I’m happy, it’s great to be Barça manager as it’s the best club in the world.
“I’m sure things can go very well in the future for our project.
“The club is sharing confidence with me. I don’t care about the rumours. The president and Deco send me clear, positive messages”.
“I don’t care about the rumours, I care about Barça board and nothing has changed”.
