I’ll Carry Light Of Positive Transformation From Towns To Villages – Gov Adeleke Assures
As he accepts Asiwaju of Edeland title
Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has vowed that he will continue to ensure that light of positive transformation gets to towns and villages across the state.
The governor made this known while delivering his remarks in Ede on Monday during his installation as Asiwaju of Edeland.
He assured citizens of the state his commitment of delivering good governance saying “you will continue to find in me a true peoples’ servant, a good listener and an agent of good governance.”
Speaking on his new title (Asiwaju of Edeland) the governor said “as I assume this new role, I seek the cooperation, prayers and support of all and sundry for our dedication to take Osun to a greater height.
“I Vow to be a frontliner (ASIWAJU) of development and growth for Edeland and Osun State as a whole.
“Kabiyesi, we note that this conferment is a commendation for the contributions of my family to the development of this town. it is equally a further call to service.
“As I am accepting the title of asiwaju of Edeland today before God and man, I dedicate it to my late father and mother; to my late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke; to my big brother, Dr Adedeji Adeleke; and to my darling sister, the yeyeluwa of Edeland, Chief Dupe Adeleke-Sanni.”
