Obasanjo, Gov Makinde, Ooni, Dangote, BOVAS CEO, Others To Grace Gov Adeleke’s Installation As Asiwaju Of Edeland

Africa’s richest man and business morgul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Chief Executive Officer of Bovas Petroleum, Chief (Mrs) Victoria Adunola Samson (Mama Bovas) will on Monday storm Osun for the installation of Governor Ademola Adeleke as the Asiwaju of Edeland.

This was disclosed on Sunday by the central planning committee chairman, Senator representing Osun West, Dr Kamorudeen Oyewumi while addressing newsmen in Ede.

According to the lawmaker, the installation of Governor Adeleke will take place at the Timi’s Palace Square, Oja Timi, Ede by 11am on Monday which also coincides with the Governors 64th birthday.

“The Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde is host to his other Governor colleagues from different states of the federation at the 3 in 1 ceremony while the Chairman/CEO, Pacific Holdings Ltd and President, Adeleke University, Ede, Dr Adedeji Adeleke is the host.”

Speaking on the rational behind the move by the Timi of Ede, Oba (Dr) Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa( I) to bestow the title on Governor Adeleke, Senator Oyewumi said it was “in acknowledgement and recognition of his contribution to the growth and development of Ede land in particular and Osun state at large.

“In the same vein, the highly revered and respected Timi also took into cognizance , the enormity of the entire Adeleke dynasty’s contribution to the growth and development of Ede, Osun State and Nigeria at large.”

The Arole Oodua, who is the Chairman, Osun Council of Obas, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja (II) according to the planning committee is the royal guest of the day.

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo is the Father while Africa’s richest woman ,business morgul and philanthropist, Mrs Folorunso Alakija, as The Mother of the Day.

Blaze Newz gathered that the title to be bestowed on Governor Adeleke was previously occupied by the first executive Governor of Osun, who was the elder brother of the incumbent Governor, late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.
