FedPoly Rector Lauds Ede South LG Boss Afolabi

The Local Government chairman of Ede South local government area of Osun State, Hon Lukman Afolabi (Abere Soose) has assured the Rector and management of Federal Polytechnic Ede of the local government’s commitment in securing the lives and properties within and around the institution.

Afolabi gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy visit to the institution.

The Chairman commended Engr(Dr)Man Yahaya Sanni for his role in ensuring that Ede indigenes get their place in the institution just as he also appealed to the polytechnic to continue to partner with the local government, particularly in the areas of employment opportunities. While also promising to work with the governor to make sure the institution feels the impact of the state government

In his own remarks, the highly elated Chairman said that he was impressed with the leadership qualities of the Rector and would be more than ready to partner with the management in ensuring that Ede becomes more conducive for the Polytechnic students and the indigenes.

“Thanks for promoting this school, during your tenure as the rector we have new accredited courses like Chemical Engineering, Mass Communication, crime management, public administration and pharmaceutical, the chairman added

The Rector Engr Dr man Yahaya Sanni, in his response, congratulated the Chairman for the visit on behalf of the management of the institution

“Your visit here is the visit of the landlord to the tenants, to see how the tenants are actually doing. By extension our new South campus which is our highest investment is under your territory definitely the issue of cooperation with the local government is a must. We are going to pay you a visit in your domain too.”

The Rector who also lauded and appreciated the chairman and all organs associated with the local government for cooperating with the school. The issue of security is primary here, all we want is peace.

In the vote of thanks by the Registrer Dr also appreciate the chairman for coming. Also, ask for a resounding relationship with the local government and tolerance from the community
