Barcelona To Go Legal, Seek Replay Of El-clasico Over Referee Error

Barcelona Presiden, Joan Laporta has disclosed that the club have concluded plans to go legal against officiator on Sunday night el-clasico against Real Madrid.

Blaze Newz recalls that Real Madrid won the match with a die minutes goal by Jude Bellingham to end at 3-2.

In the very heated el-clasico, a controversial goal by Lamine Yamal was disallowed by the center referee.

Speaking on this, Joan said “With this appearance I make, I do not only want to pick up the unpleasantness of Barcelona fans for the mismanagement that was made yesterday of VAR, but to emphasize that despite being a tool that takes time between us continues to cause confusion and criteria contradictory by game and team.

“As the president of FC Barcelona I also want to emphasize the power of our competition and emphasize that we are a successful competition followed by millions of fans everywhere, but that is not why we can stay at the margin of criticism when the use of VAR underestimates our competition.”

“… As a club we want to have security about what happened and that is why I inform you that from FC Barcelona we will immediately require the Technical Committee of Referees and the Spanish Football Federation to provide us with the totality of images and audios generated the Played”.

“If once analyzed this documentation the Club understands that an error occurred in the assessment of the play, we will launch all the appropriate actions to reverse the situation without dismissing, evidently, the legal actions that are needed.

“If it was confirmed that it was a legal goal, we will go further and not rule out asking for a repeat of the match, as happened in a European match due to a VAR error.

“Lastly, I want to emphasize that although we will focus on this play, we also disagree with various actions in the course of the game that, being consulted in the VAR, this tool was ignored by the referee in an incomprehensible way.

“Partners, partners and fans of Barça: this position of the Club is neither free nor advantageous, but an action that obliges us the situation that we live defenseless and for having suffered numerous actions on the field of playing that some have harmed us and others have benefited our rival, and that together both show that point distance that is at the top of LaLiga.”
