Ladies’ Aspire Sets For Maiden Osun Exceptional Ladies Conference, Calls On Women Participation

An Osun based women promoting forum, Ladies’ Aspire, has called on women from all walks of life in the state to attend its maiden Osun Exceptional Ladies Conference slated for April 6, 2024.

Addressing newsmen at the NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo, on Wednesday, Chairperson of the forum, Mrs Folasade Oluyemisi Omole, said the upcoming conference was to bring successful and like-minded women together as team.

Omole said the conference will accord the participants an opportunity to discuss careers that change lives.

Omole said: “We want other women from all over Osun that we can network together, team up together, help ourselves, share our challenges and successes.

Omole, who assured that the forum will not in the future become a political group said “The ultimate thing is to help every woman to be exceptional in whatever field they found themselves.”

She, however, appealed to all women in the state to ensure that they attend the conference.

Mrs Omole further explained that medical outreach is part of other lined up programs for the conference which according to her will start by 10:00am at WOCDIF Event Centre, Ringroad, Osogbo.

Echoing a similar views, Pastor Segun Oduyebo said the conference was aimed to establish mentorship that enable young women interact with women of substances on issues that change lives.

Oduyebo, who is the owner Destiny Development Initiative said: “With this project, we aim to establish a mentorship program that enables young women to have an opportunity to interact with established women leaders and receive valuable guidance, as well as networking opportunities where women from diverse backgrounds will have the opportunity to connect and build lasting relationships”

Blaze Newz gathered that former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili , Mrs Funke Felix-Adejumo, Executive Director of FFA Group and Mrs Yemisi Iranloye will be speaking on “Fostering Female Leadership in Personal Development and Nation Building”.
