The New Covenant Church said all plans to kickstart it first-ever Liberty 5-day medical and empowerment outreach for residents of Osogbo, state capital of Osun and it enviros are on top gear.

Addressing newsmen on Friday in Osogbo, Conference Pastor, Rev. Olufunso Ajibode said the outreach was set to free over five thousand (5000) people from bondage of sin, sicknesses, diseases, and poverty.

According to Rev. Ajibode “Since 1999, we have gone from village to village, town to town and city to city. We have established 2 free schools in Oyo State, sunk 16 wells, built several churches. did agricultural and business empowerment and medical surgeries (eye & general) for many who needed them.

“This year 2023, Osogbo City is blessed and privileged through the New Covenant Church Osogbo Conference to host this year’s outreach.

“The outreach holds from Wednesday october 25 to sunday october 29 (next week) from 9am each day at the Osogbo City Stadium” he added.

He further explained that free eye surgeries shall be conducted for those who need it and free eye glasses would be distributed to those who may require such including free general surgeries.

“There will also be free legal clinic, business empowerment and distribution of welfare materials like clothes, shoes, e.t.c. for the needy and less privileged ones.

“Our Youths will conduct outreaches to selected Schools (both Primary and Secondary) during this 5 days to challenge them on the need to desist from teenage pregnancy, shun cultism and other forms of violence and to challenge them to academic excellence.

“The goodnews of the Kingdom of God shall be preached and participants who need medical consultations shall be attended to” he added.
