Drama As Suspended Osun Poly Rector, Odetayo Returns To Office Against Govt Directive
The suspended rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo has resumed to office against Governor Ademola Adeleke directive.
According to reports Odetayo resumed on Thursday at exactly 7:57am with staff of the institution ushering him to his office.
It would be recalled that Osun State Government, had, in a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Kehinde Jimoh, on Monday, July 24, suspended Dr Odetayo, for gross misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
Subsequently, appointed Kehinde Alabi as the institution’s acting rector.
While returning to his office, Odetayo was armed with injunction of the industrial court,directing the state government to ensure that the status quo remained pending the determination of the suit filed by Odetayo.
Odetayo welcomed by his supporters displayed the court other for those who challenged his action and tried to prevent them from entering.
