Adeleke Disowns NSIP Boss, Ibitoye Kehinde, Orders Investigation

Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has warned government officials to desist from providing cover or partnership for Kehinde Ibitoye.

The government said Ibitoy’s activities constitute threat to integrity of the state.

Adeleke who frowned to Ibitoye’s purported programmes with Microsoft and Fidelity bank, described his recent activities as injurious to the reputation of the state government.

In a statement issued on Monday by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed said “the State Government affirmed that Mr Ibitoye was an appointee of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and that his recent activities has brought reputational damage to the state government, calling on local and national agencies and private sector organisations to beware of any solicitation from the said Ibitoye in relation to the State Government.

He further enjoined that “the State Government has statutory bodies and agencies in the area of empowerment and capacity building across the sectors, directing government officials to desist from providing cover or partnership for Mr Ibitoye as his activities now constitute threat to the integrity of the State.

The State Government therefore affirmed that Ibitoye is not and cannot act on behalf of the State Government.

“Any corporate body with issues with the said Ibitoye should relate with him and not drag the State Government into such controversy” the statement said.
