ALGON Chair Reacts To Alleged Monthly Thrift By Osun LG Chairmen

Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, Otunba Sarafadeen Abiodun has dismissed insinuations that the state 30 local government chairmen engage in monthly thrift (Ajo)

Blaze Newz recalls that Otunba Abiodun was one among the just inaugurated caretaker chairmen for local governments in Osun State by Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The Ifelodun LG boss doubles as the Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Osun chapter.

When asked on Frank Talk’s Thursday edition of Rave FM to clear air on reports that local government chairmen in Osun engage in millions of naira monthly thrift, Otunba Abiodun said Osun ALGON not a bear parlor sellers association.

“I don’t see where they (ALGON) will say they have a monthly contribution.

“Contribution on what ? when we have our official entitlement

“Ethically it is not right, when we have our impress, we are going to have our security vote, we are going to have our salary, what is the meaning of Ajo ?

“This is PDP, no Ajo”, he said.
