Osun Opens To Private Partnership In Tourism

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Abiodun Ojo has said that Osun Government under Governor Adeleke Adeleke is going to involve in private partnership to develop Osun Tourist Sector adding that his Ministry will create an avenue through promoting Tourism for Osun people to be engaged.
He said Osun government cannot develop the tourism alone which is the reason why they are going to involve in partnership, stating that government will provide basic facilities to encourage those that will be partnering with them.
Also stating on Rave FM Osogbo on Monday Ojo said that his Ministry has the plan of creating an avenue through promoting tourism for Osun people to be engaged hereby reducing violence in the state.
He added that promoting tourism in Osun state will encourage local people and also provide employment opportunity for Osun people.
“We are going to be involve in private partner because is a very large business space, government alone cannot do it, but government will definitely provide the basic facilities: roads, security and those things there, we are very much interested in private partnership.
“We have plans to have team village music, if you can encourage our local people through the cultural centers and tourist, we will make development role, employment will come down, we are working on how to create avenue for our people to be engaged, issue of violence other things will come down when people are busy, we are creating avenue for such.”
