Lionel Messi has won the Major League Soccer, MLS, leagues trophy for Inter Miami.
The trophy according to reports is the first-ever for the David Beckham owned MLS club.
Inter Miami won the trophy with a penalty shootout by 10-9 against
Nashville after a 1-1 draw at regular time.
Messi’s loan goal saved Inter Miami from falling into the hands of Nashville who were leading with a goal.
The arrival of Argentine world cup champion into the Inter Miami team has reshaped them as they keep winning day in day out.
Inter Miami is yet to lose a single match since Messi’s arrival.
