The Osun Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has assured Osun People of the adoption of palliatives to help cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

The Governor who spoke through his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Rave FM Osogbo Monday’s edition of Frank Talk, said that what is delaying Osun state own palliatives was because of the desk meeting added that very soon it will be worked on.

He stressed that Governor Adeleke has been working on providing buses to convey people especially workers to their place of work and the adjustment of working hours for the workers, saying Osun people will soon hear from the governor.

According to Governor’s spokesperson, “we are already working on the issue of buses, I think some of the pictures were in town already most of our buses , some new, some old they will be push out to the public especially the workers to reduce the challenges of logistic of movement.

“Of course the issue of work hours adjustment is also been worked upon, when I say work hours adjustment we are talking of if you have four staffs in the office , two may come to work this week, another will come to work next week, so as to reduce the level at which people spend on transportation.

“What actually delay the release of our own state palliative is the issue of the desk meeting and I want to assure you that by tomorrow now, I think governor is having a meeting with some relevant commissioners and we are waiting for the outcome but in due course Osun people will hear from Governor Ademola Adeleke.”
