Tinubu Elected ECOWAS Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged as the new Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
He was elected chair at the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, taking place in Guinea-Bissau.
An elated Tinubu pledged to take democracy seriously, noting that, though tough, it is still the best form of government.
