Guardiola Explains Why He Allowed Gundogan To Join Barca
Manchester City manager,Pep Guardiola has admitted he’s not afraid of letting some of his players leave the club.
Blaze Newz gathered that in recent years Guardiola allowed his big players like Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, Vincent Kompany, Raheem Sterling, Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus, and more recently Ilkay Gundogan to leave.
Explaining why he makes some of this big decisions almost every summer, Guardiola insisted that it’s important he refreshes the squad.

“Always I thought after five or six years together we need to change – changing the manager is an option, or changing a few players. Always,” Pep Guardiola said last year.
“But, at the same time, sometimes it’s good to change to refresh everyone – the new players, the old players.

“And it’s normal the new players bring in new energy, new desires.”
