Osun Rep,Oke Condemns Attack On Adeleke

Says It Was A Barbaric Attempt
The Lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, Hon Busayo Oluwole Oke has condemned the attack on the State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke at the Muslim Praying Ground, Osogbo on Wednesday.
Hon Wole Oke in a Statement he issued from Warsaw Poland described the action as barbaric and uncouth . ”

He noted that the Governor deserved due respect and absolute honour, saying his decision to pray at Osogbo praying ground was part of his civic responsibility as the Executive Governor of Osun State.
“I see no reason for such a barbaric and uncivilized action.”
While felecitating with entire Muslims in the State on the celebration of the Eid Kabir, he enjoined the people of the state to remain calm and embrace, love, peace and tranquility which were inherent values of the celebration as laid down by Prophet Ibrahim.

Hon Oke however called on the security agencies to investigate the assassination attempt on the Governor and bring the culprits to book.
It would be recalled that the Osun State Governor was on Wednesday attacked by thugs allegedly hired by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress at the Osogbo Central Praying Ground, along Ibokun Road, Osogbo.
