Transfer: Man City’s Captain, Gundogan Joins Barcelona

Manchester City captain, Ilkay Gundogan has joined La Liga champions, Barcelona on two year deals.
Gundogan put pen to paper on a contract until June 2025.
However, the deal has a clause to extend his stay at the Nou Camp until 2026.

Barcelona have also included a €400m release clause for the 32-year-old, who was monitored by Arsenal and clubs in Saudi Arabia before making his decision.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted: “Details of Ilkay Gündogan deal:
“€400m release clause;
“Contract until June 2025;
“Clause to extend until 2026.”
