Okocha Amazes Ronaldinho In America During Charity Match

Super Eagles of Nigeria legend, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, thrilled fans in America last weekend during a Ronaldinho’s Charity match
The former Bolton Wanderers skipper, was in Florida on Friday to honour a legends’ game organized by former teammate, Ronaldinho.
And as anticipated, he reminded fans of his mesmerizing skills with and without the ball.
Tagged ‘The Beautiful Game’ the second edition of the exhibition which was held last year, served as a reunion of former stars. Also, current and active players and other celebrities were in attendance.
The game which was hot at the prestigious Exploria Stadium, experienced a huge turnout of fans.

And the two teams were captained by Brazilians Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos. And Nigeria’s Okocha filed out alongside his teammate, Ronaldinho in midfield.

The former Nigerian captain as expected opened the scoring in the exciting game. And the goal came after he bamboozled the defenders in the penalty-box to chip past Colombian goalkeepr Guita.

The R10 team’s goal was equalised by another Brazilian legend, Rivaldo, after he struck past Brazilian legend Dida.

Ronaldinho’s teammate at Barcelona, Patrick Kluivert restored the lead for team R10. With Okocha and Ronaldinho thrilling fans and dominating possession helped Cafu score the team’s third goal. But, team Roberto Carlos, reduced the lead when Luca Moura scored after being laid by Willian.
And few minutes before the first-half break, Real Madrid’s forward Vinicius Junior scored his team’s fourth after chipping the goalkeeper.

However, the game was disrupted by a tropical downpour as well as a procession of young fans who took advantage of the slow momentum to interrupt the game. And they achieved this by promptly running onto the pitch in search of a selfie with one or more of their footballing idols.
Fans gave the football superstars standing ovation at the end of the match.
