Tinubu Receives Accolades Over Recent Appointments

An associate professor in economics of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, has commended President Bola Tinubu on his recent political appointment.

He said President Tinubu has done well by appointing those people into offices saying it is a sign of beautiful things to come.

He further stated that one of the things that is destroying Nigerians is nepotism, and anyone with the act of putting relations in a political offices will not achieve result.

In an interview with Ogunyemi on Rave FM Osogbo, he said, President Tinubu must be commended for putting the right people at the right positions.

According to Ogunyemi “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has proved beyond any reasonable doubt that he has a knack for getting the right person in the right places, give it to him.

“On this score, President Tinubu has done well check out those people that are around him, is it Dele Alake, is a crack communicator he has pay the dues in Journalism, is it Wale Edun is into financial economist, is it Mrs. Olu Verheijen she is an expert in energy.

“Asiwaju himself micro managed it and am quoting former Governor of Lagos Fashola he will not just give you job to do he will follow through, he will supervise you, he will call you because he himself know.

“I think it is a great sign of beautiful things to come, not to appoint a people and become lethargy and just go and hide yourself somewhere and be drinking Nunu.

“No that is not for this President, the truth of the matter is that the appointment made by the President with respect to this special advisers are well made and they are signs of the great things to come.

“And have you notice that they were so balance meaning that there is no parts of this country that does not have great men and women than can be put into government what is destroying us is nepotism.

“You put my friend, put all manners of relations you use it to surround yourself you won’t achieve any result, now the President is putting the right person at the right position, I think he should be commended.”
