He Has Seized To Be A Monarch - Ex-Osun Senator Tongue Lashes Ataoja

The immediate past spokesperson of the 9th Senate, Ajibola Basiru has tongue lashed Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimo Olanipekun, saying he is no longer a king.

Basiru, who was halted from returning to the Senate, defeated by Senator Olubiyi Ajagunla of Peoples Democratic Party, said this on Wednesday.

Addressing his party members who gathered to welcome him back to the state after four years of representing Osun Central in the 9th Senate, said he delebratly did not take his campaign to the palace of the monarch.

When asked why he did not get the support of the monarch of his hometown, Basiru said, “I did not go to his palace to campaign. He (Ataoja) has ceased to be a monarch. He is an active and card-carrying member of the PDP.”

Blaze Newz recalls that Basiru lost his return bid to the Red Chamber to an Ila-orangun born politician, Ajagunla.
