I’m Leaving With Bitter Taste – Di Maria Speaks After Departing Juventus

Argentina World Cup winner Angel Di Maria has penned an emotional message to his former colleagues at Juventus, hours after the club confirmed his departure on Tuesday.

Di Maria had only joined Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.

In a post via his Instagram account on Tuesday, Di Maria wrote: “I have reached the end of a difficult and complicated stage.

I’m leaving with the peace of mind who gave everything to help the club continue winning titles, but it wasn’t possible.

I’m leaving with the bitter taste of not being able to make it, but with the happiness of bringing with me many friends of this wonderful changing room of which I was a part of.

“Thanks to all my mates for the affection they have shown me since day one, I have always felt at home. A big greeting to all Juventus fans for their daily affection.
