NYCN Seeks Job Opportunity, Youth Inclusiveness Into Osun Govt

The National Youth Council of Nigeria,NYCN, Osun State chapter has called on Osun Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke to make his government youth friendly

NYCN also told the Governor to create Job opportunity, enabling environment for entrepreneurs and empower the youths in all spheres in Osun State.

The youth organization under the leadership of Comrade Ajala Adetunji who solidified its existence through voluntary organisations cut across 30 local government areas of Osun including Modakeke area council said this in a communique made available to Blaze Newz after its 1-day Osun Youth Town Hall Dialogue with the theme ” Connecting The Dots For Youth Development.”

Members of the Oṣun NYC representing over one million youths across the state of Osun deliberated on three dots needed to be connected for the development of youths in the Osun State.

The first dot stated in the communique was vision which was explained to be what will drive the youths to attain greater position so government and the youths should have a clear cut vision.

The second dot was capacity, stating that government should provide enabling environment which will promote the potentials of the youth that has the neccessary capacity.

The third dot stated that government should look into the implementation of the Osun Youth Development commission as there are established donors ready for partnership.

Some members present at the meeting were: Hon. Adewunmi Adeyemi (Irekandu), Hon Wale Egbedun ( The Hon. Elect Osun State House of Assembly), Ademola Sadipe ( the chairman youth advisory council) and others.

According to the communique “in the course of deliberations, three dots were concluded as ways to connect Osun youth for development of the state.

“1. Vision: For the better development of any youth, vision should be the first dot that Calaf Higents will drive her to attain a greater position. In the same vein, government and the youth must have a clear cut vision for youth development in Osun State.

“2. Capacity: The Youth were encouraged to build their capacity and more importantly Osun State Government should create an enabling environment which will promote the potential of the youth that has the necessary capacity. As such, this will motivate.

“the youth and serves as the energy to drive their vision.

3. Youth Development Commission: The Government should look into the implementation of the Osun Youth Development Commission as there are established donors ready for partnership.”
