Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski has won La Liga highest goal trophy,Pichichi with 23 goals.

Blaze Newz gathered that the Polish captain who joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich did not score a single penalty.

Meanwhile, his close contender, Karim Benzima of Real Madrid scored 19 goals with 7 penalties.

Lewandowski, becomes the first la Liga player to win the Pichichi without scoring a single penalty since Dani Guiza in the 2007-08 season, according to MisterChip.

He also became the fifth Barcelona player to win the Pichichi Trophy in his first season at the club, the first to do so for 26 years.

Barcelona players who won the individual trophy in their first season are; Hans Krankl (1978/79), Quini (1980/81), Romário (1993/94), Ronaldo (1996/97)and Robert Lewandowski (2022/23).

Lewandowski also won his first la liga trophy with Barcelona.
