NNPC Hikes Sales Of PMS To N500 A Liter

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit to N500 per litre in Osun.
President Tinubu had during his inauguration said: “On fuel subsidy, the budget I met before I assumed office and what I heard is that there is no provision for subsidy. Fuel subsidy is gone.”
Blaze Newz gathered that immediately after the President’s speech on Monday, petroleum marketers in the state allegedly discussed the issue on their platforms and commenced product hoarding for several hours.

The NNPCL hailed the pronouncement of President Tinubu on the removal of fuel subsidy, saying it is a welcome development. The company also urged Nigerians not to resort to panic buying.
Blaze Newz confirmed that NNPC fuel station at Lemeco along Ring Road in Osogbo is currently selling the product for N500 per litter.
Meanwhile BOVAS fuel stations across the Oṣun is selling for N195 per litter.
