Osun Guber: Anxiety As Supreme Court Hears Adeleke, Oyetola Case Today

As the Supreme Court hears the case of Governor Ademola Adeleke and Gboyega Oyetola over who is the duly elected governor of the Osun July 16,2022 governorship election.
Blaze Newz recalls that Senator Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP, was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Challenging the victory at a tribunal led by Justice Tertse Kume-led tribubal panel which sat in Osogbo, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress,APC, was declared duly elected governor against the declaration of INEC.

But at the Appeal Court Justice Mohammed Shaibu on March 24, Senator Adeleke was returned as the authentic winner.
Blaze Newz also gathered that the apex court will today hear appeal filed by former governor Oyetola, candidate of APC, against the victory of Senator Adeleke.
The matter has been listed for adoption of final written addresses by the parties today.
Adeleke and PDP are cross-appealing the decision of the Court of Appeal aligning the Certified True Copy. The legitimacy of the exhibit BVR relied upon by the APC, that the date on the certified true copy, post-date the date on the receipt.
They are also cross-appealing on the issue of the co-authorship of the judgement, the validity of the tribunal judgement.
