Ex-Osun Gov,Oyinlola Reveals Why PDP Lost 2023 Presidential Election

A former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has revealed cause of poor outing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 general elections.

Oyinlola said the opposition party suffered spell which led to lossing the presidential election to the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, President-elect, Bola Tinubu.

He disclosed this on Oro Oselu program of Rave FM ,Osogbo, on Monday.

Blaze Newz recalls that Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the PDP lost the contest to former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu.

Oyinlola said PDP was in advantage above the ruling party, APC, to win the February 25 presidential election, stating scarcity of fuel, scarcity of cash.

According to Oyinlola ” We have everything to change people’s mind to our own advantage but we failed to use it.”

He also stated that the failure to make peace with the aggrieved Rivers State Governor,Nyesome Wike-led G5 governors of PDP contributed to their woe outing.

Blaze Newz gathered that Atiku won 12 states in the February 25 presidential election which was same as the winner, President-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party also won the same states with the winner and runner up.
