In a difficult but necessary decision, Davido has postponed his most-anticipated A.W.A.Y festival till November 2023.

This new development came following the tragic death of his first son, Ifeanyi David Adeleke, who passed on in October 2022.

Blaze Newz reported that Ifeanyi drowned in his father’s swimming pool in Banana Island. All efforts to resuscitate him, unfortunately, proved futile.

Announcing the postponment of the program, management of A.W.A.Y festival in an official statement laid emphasis on the fact that it is imperative that the music icon spends time with his family at a time like this.
