2023: Mrs Oyetola Leads Osun Women Match For Tinubu/Shettima

As part of her efforts to mobilize not less than a milion votes for the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima, Osun State first lady, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has led thousands of Akoni Obinrin on a solidarity walk.

The solidarity walk which started from the Osun Government House, Oke-fia , Olaiya area ended at freedom park, on Tuesday.

Speaking at freedom park, Mrs Kafayat who is also convegner of the Akoni Obinrin said the solidarity walk for Tinubu was done to ensure that the people of Osun know their candidate (Asiwaju Tinubu) and to woo them to vote for him.

Mrs Kafayat who promised to deliver not less than one millions votes for their candidates stressed that a group of 138 women tagged Akoni Obinrin has been appointed as coordinator across the state to mobilise women in their host community to canvass and win vote for Tinubu/Shettima comes 2023 elections.

Mrs Kafayat noted that Akoni Obinrin will be at all the polling unit on the election day to monitor their votes so that over voting that occurred in the Osun state governorship election will not repeat in the coming elections.

She urged the women to mobilise more people for their candidate adding that Tinubu perfomed excellently well during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State.

“We have seen what he did within and outside the country most especially when he was the governor of Lagos state, he is a type of man that accommodate everybody without tribal sentiment. With the good job he has done in Lagos state, we believed he will replicate it in the entire country.

“We have 138 coordinators of Akoni Obinrin across the state, under these coordinators, we have representatives of the group at every Unit, Ward and local government levels.

“They will mobilise support and votes for Asiwaju, we have promised to deliver minimum of 1 million votes in 2023 for APC.

” From the experience of over voting we had in 2022 governorship election, we will ensure we monitor our vote, we will go to polling units to cast our votes, stay at the polling units to prevent rigging of any kind like it happened few month ago, we are ready to monitor the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System, BVAS. We will do all what it take to prevent preloaded BVAS. We are ready to monitor our votes.

In the vein, the Minister for Information and Culture Mrs Funke Egbemode said the Akoni Obinrin will everything possible to deliver votes for Tinubu.
She said Tinubu has the political ingredients and Will that the nation needs and urged people to work for his victory.

According to her, Tinubu is tested and trusted looking at the legacy he laid and his infrastrure deveploment during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State.

“There’s no point in throwing away your vote for an untested hand , if you have use a Doctor before, and he did well You can trust him, we have seen that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has a major ingredients that the nation needs and that’s political will.

“He has stood up to the system before and won. Anybody who can stand up to the system who does not have political will as to know difference at the villa and i want my people, the of Osun to realized that he is the man that has been tested, he’s the man that we can trust and we should come out in February on the day of election to cast our vote for him.
