Since July 16th, 2022, everything negative have been ascribed to governor-elect, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke and People Democratic Party members.
Yoruba says “Ota eni kii podu oya”, this is exactly the problem with All Progressive Congress and outgoing governor, Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
When two siblings were killed in Ede town, APC and their outgoing governor related it to Senator Adeleke and PDP, attack on governor Gboyega Oyetola’s wife at Owode-Ede market on firday 19th August, 2022 was wrongly ascribed to governor elect and PDP again.
These days, many are good write-ups by APC sponsored members about the outgoing governor. If he has done well as claimed in the articles, he ought to have won the last governorship election in the state.
Part of APC plan to destabilize governor-elect’s programme is to conduct local government election when it is obvious that outgoing governor’s time remains just three months.
Where were they and what were they thinking since November 2010 till now that they did not conduct local government election? Outgoing governor want to use his power in the state to rig local government election for his boys so that they can frustrate the governor-elect.
If the election will be conducted by INEC, People Democratic Party will still win, even majority of the local governments.

With the situation of things in Osun State and in Nigeria presently, APC may not win up to five local governments in Osun State, but governor Oyetola and APC depend more on OSIEC to rig the election in their favour, that’s why they are adamant and want to go ahead.
The fear of governor-elect, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke forced the House of Assembly to change the Parliamentary system they have been using since 2010 to presidential system to avoid litigation after their tenure comes to an end.
Many are wrong committed by APC administration in Osun State between November 2010 till date in which the fear of Senator Adeleke has made them to revert.
As it is, Tribunal cannot save outgoing governor and APC in Osun State from shame of losing the election and nuisance they are performing within the state after losing the election, the mandate of Osun people cannot be stolen the second time.
Oyetola and his people should accept their fate and handover power honorably come November this year. Respecting themselves can foster peace in the state before and after their tenure comes to an end.
As the saying of the people in politics, Á kii gbe koto oselu jin”. Outgoing governor and APC at large in Osun should respect themselves and act maturely to hand-over power peacefully.
They should see politics as a game in which one must win and in which Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke has won.
