Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and other players of Barcelona were seen playing with frustration on Saturday night as they are forced to play goalless draw with Rayo Vallecano.
The frustrated players were unhappy because they failed to get the three points in their first game of La Liga 22/23.
Barcelona’s new project with Xavi Hernandez at the wheel faced a Rayo Vallecano side that defended very well all the match and did not allow them to get anything more than a draw.
The ‘Cules’ played very well in the first half and had control of the game, but still struggled to create chances.
Lewandowski managed to score in the 12th minute with a chip over Dimitrievski but he was caught offside.
In the second half the Catalan giants managed to create a number of chances to score. However, the great performance of Dimitrievski prevented them from scoring the winning goal.
Busquets made a powerful shot from 30 yards in the 69th minute but the Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper made an incredible save.

In extra time, Busquets was sent off for being cautioned for the second time after a foul on Falcao. The striker scored in the 95th minute but his goal was disallowed for offside.
Barcelona, who have made top signings this summer, lived up to expectations with a good style of play, but it was not enough to start La Liga with a win.
