Barrister Kolapo Alimi, a member of Osun Governor-elect, Senate Ademola Adeleke transition committee has sent an open letter to the Minister of Interior and former two term Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Alimi who decamped to the People Democratic Party PDP,Osun chapter was instrumental for Senator Adeleke to defeat incumbent Governor, Gboyega Oyetola in the July 16 election.

The Erin-Osun born politician who also served as commission under Aregbesola in his “OPEN LETTER TO MY LEADER AND BENEFACTOR OGBENI RAUF AREGBESOLA” on Friday eulogised the serving minister.

The lawyer turned politician who acknowledged being in a different party with Aregbesola didn’t hide his love and respect for his boss.

Today Friday 12th August, 2022 marks eleven years anniversary of Friday, 12th August, 2011, when your Excellency gave me a rare privilege to be sworn in as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, State of Osun, along with thirteen others.

Though, as at today, we do not belong to the same political party, but that day was the turning point in my life and I, Kolapo Alimi will forever remain grateful to your Excellency for this and other positive impacts in my life.

And I pray that, Allah will continue to protect you and your family and continue to elevate you higher and higher, amen.
