Osun APC Returns To Factory Setting

The defeat of July 16 gubernatorial election won by candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke has sent the ruling party,All Progressives Congress, APC, Osun chapter to factory setting.

It was a shocking outcome of an election that the incumbent governor, Governor Gboyega Oyetola boasted he will win with wide margin.

As citizen of the state who has knowledge of political affairs of Osun can now say electorate of the state are now wiser and showed resilience to change any government that is not working for the interest of the people.

The PDP historical comeback with the last election defeating APC in its different strongholds across the state is one of the greatest downfall of the ruling party in Osun.

The over 28,000 votes geared by the opposition party in the just concluded election may force APC into extinction for many years.

I have heard from friends and neighbors who sang different songs of praise after Osun election praying again that may the people of Nigeria never witness APC again after the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
