Cristiano Ronaldo is in a hurry to decide his future. He has been missing for weeks, trying to force an exit that has not yet happened, but this week he will fly to Manchester.
‘The Athletic’ reported that the striker could arrive in the Mancunian city as early as Monday. The purpose, to meet face to face with Ten Hag to explain his intentions.
The Dutch coach and Cristiano Ronaldo have yet to see each other since Manchester United announced his arrival. The Portuguese went on holiday and has not returned yet.
The position of the Red Devils has not changed. Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale and they are not going to listen to any offer for him… unless he renews and is on loan.
The source said that the fact that the Portuguese is returning to Manchester should be taken as a positive sign that he will join up with the rest of his team-mates.
However, the footballer’s entourage is not so optimistic and sees this meeting as a step towards his departure from the Mancunian club.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s main goal is to continue playing in the Champions League, and he cannot do that in the 2022-23 season in Manchester.
