Senator Ademola Adeleke, the governor-elect of Osun State, has astounded Nigerians by speaking Igbo with such a high level of fluency that he might easily be mistaken for a native of the southeast.
Recently, he discussed his triumph and his future intentions for Osun state in an interview with BBC News Igbo.
Igbo was the primary language spoken throughout Senator Adeleke’s conversation with the interviewer.
He assured the people that he would do his best to serve them, and he thanked them for their continued support.
It is thought that he learned the Igbo language from his mother, who is originally from Abia state.
