Former Barcelona President, Sandro Rosell
has revealed the reason behind Pep Guardiola’s departure from the club after managing the team for only four years.
Rosell explained the reason during an interview with El Periodico .
The former Blaugrana president explained that Pep left because of problems with the players, dismissed having issue with the board.
When asked if the Barcelona board pushed Guardiola out of the club Rossell said “It’s not true, they’ve explained it actively and passively, Guardiola and the players.
“Pep left because of an argument with the players. A problem they had in the dressing room.”
Blaze Newz gathered that Guardiola was the first former player turned coach who won all trophies in a single season for Barcelona.
He managed players like Lionel Messi, Samuel Etoo, Theory Henry, Fabrigas, Charles Puyo , Victor Valdes, Pedro Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta among others.
Guardiola left Barcelona in 2012, joined Bayern Munich in Germany and currently managing Manchester City in the English Premier League.
