National Deputy Chair : Osun PDP Divided Over Choice Of Oyinlola As Another Candidate Emerges

Members of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Osun chapter have been divided over internal disagreement to settle for the choice of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola as a sole candidate from the state for PDP national deputy chairman.

Oyinlola, a former governor of Osun for seven years among other candidates has thrown his hat into the ring to jostle for the post of PDP national deputy chairman zoned to the southwest of the country.

Blaze Newz recall that Prince Oyinlola had previously declared his interest in contesting for the office of the national chairman of PDP before it was later zoned to the northern part of the country.

However, despite being a strong pillar and former governor of the state, Oyinlola who had reportedly bought form to contest for the post is confronted with lack of support by members of Osun PDP.

According to a reliable source who pleaded to remain anonymous disclosed that majority of the party leaders are not reckoned with the choice of Price Oyinlola rather want Professor Wale Oladipo.

The source added that if Osun PDP does not feed a popular candidate like Prince Oyinlola for the office, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja of Oyo State who has also declared interest in the office may steal the opportunity from Osun.
