One will be surprised with the sudden disappearance of the 26-year-old (born in 1993) Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Joana Nnazua Kolo produced by the Oto gee Kwara state government under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.

Kolo, who is a 2018 graduate of Library Science of Kwara State University, is believed to be the youngest commissioner in the history of Nigeria.

She ended her National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, programme early October in Jigawa State, where she taught at Model Boarding Junior Secondary School Guri.

Governor AbdulRasaq who ended the many years of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, rule in Kwara State in 2019 enjoined massive support from the residents of the state who were tired of Senator Bukola Saraki dynasty indirect rule.

Fate of better Kwara witnessed a turn around and was thrown into the hands of All Progressives Congress, APC, when the APC led federal government was on the mission of next level.

Goveenor AbdulRasaq who wasted no time in setting up his cabinet shocked the world especially Nigerian youths by appointing Joana Nnazua Kolo as commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, this made the not too young movement to salute the governor for believing in youth ability.

However, some youths criticized the governor for entrusting Kolo with such huge responsibility saying she was never a product of ideological organizations where members receive leadership training.

Governor AbdulRasaq was according to some youths playing politics with the youths for appointing 26-year-old Kolo into his cabinet because the young lady has no track record of occupying that high office.

Today, Joana Nnazua Kolo who did not spend up to two years in Governor AbdulRasaq’s cabinet is no longer a commissioner which may be linked to her unsure political value.

If truth must be told Governor AbdulRasaq used Kolo to gain political attention not because he trusted the ability of the young lady for the prosperity of his government.
